About Just Like Family Home Care
Just Like Family Home Care is a local Canadian home care provider. We started here in the lower mainland and have locations throughout. We are a compassionate business based on person focused care in the comfort of the clients own home environment. Staff can make a real difference in their local community caring for individuals making sure they get the right type and amount of care. We customize the care each client receives and update their care plans as needs change. Having consistent caregivers working weekly with their specific clients is how we ensure there is rapport and that consistent care is in place.
Our Values
Just Like Family Home Care values are providing compassionate dignified care to each and every client. Having staff that are happy in their job and making a living wage, getting extended benefits and able to work one job to get full time hours or whatever amount of hours they want to work is important as an employer. We work with caregiver's availability to get them the hours/ clients they need. Flexibility is important as we start to build up a caregiver's schedule with regular ongoing clients to get them the hours they desire. Adapting to each client is another value our company believes in. That each client is unique and has needs and personality we need to match up with our best fit for the caregivers on staff. Reliability, punctuality and honesty are key values we look for in staff supporting our clients.
Our Team
Just Like Family Home Care is a team of staff members of different cultural backgrounds , ages and experiences. Just like our clients being unique, so are our caregivers! Some are care aides, PSW's, CSW's, nurses, companion caregivers etc...
We love that each member of the team brings a special talent and experience that we can work with to find clients that are good matches based on their experience, strengths, willingness to do ongoing training and more.

Learning modules they can do at their own pace on topics related to the types of care we provide to our clients. We also have Zoom training sessions monthly, a monthly training module that we draw a winner and publish in our monthly newsletter. Also employees of the month for our different locations. Recognition and staff acknowledgment is important to us!
